If taxpayers need to request an expedited title to facilitate a transfer of ownership, they can take the following steps:
1. visit https://okcars.tax.ok.gov
2. Click "Where is my title" in the bottom right hand corner. Enter the current title number and click the checkbox.
3. Click "Request Title Print". Fill in the required information, including dealer number.
4. Click "Next" and then "Submit".
5. Check your email for an update as to whether the case has been approved, usually within two business day. If approved, the paper title will be processed and mailed in the next 3-5 days.
We expect to return to our normal printing schedule before the fall. All delayed titles will be printed and mailed once our pending order of title stock arrives.
